Plan The Perfect Golf Tournament

Golf Tournaments

Plan Ahead Pre-Tournament

Book your event at least six months before the big day to ensure the course can accommodate all your attendees. Three months later, it’s time to send out invitations. Impress guests with branded postcards paired with divot repair tools and golf balls, or go digital with your invites so you can easily update event info leading up to the tournament.

Surprise Guests With Gift Bags

Hand out gift bags to golfers when they stop by the registration table. They’ll love receiving a free gift just for showing up, and will be more likely to donate because of it. Fill their tote bags with promos they can use throughout the match, like branded polos to rep their team or bottled water and snacks to refuel on-the-go.

Rep Your Cause With Raffles

The perfect time to kick off your charity raffle is when the match is just about finished. Entice participants to donate with high-quality promos like branded golf bags or golf gloves. Have players buy raffle tickets at an affordable cost for the chance to win one of these big ticket items.

Awards for All

All of your guests deserve to feel special – after all, they came out for a good cause. Celebrate all kinds of achievements, from the Longest Putt and Highest Scoring Team, to silly titles like Most Creative Team Name or Most Team Spirit. Guests will be as delighted to receive a branded trophy or plaque as they will to get a free sports bottle or golf towel.

Time for Follow-Ups

Thank all your guests for coming a week or so after the event with one last touchpoint. Send them personalized thank-you notes in the mail along with branded golf balls. Let them know you hope they had a “hole” lot of fun, and you hope to see them on the course again next year.
